If you didn’t quite manage to stay up until the wee hours to watch Conor McGregor’s bout, you’re in luck, as 3e are showing the fight tonight. The broadcast will also include fellow Irishman Cathal Pendred in action. Settle in with the popcorn and prepare your chants. #UFC
The Eichmann Show (BBC Two, 9pm)
Martin Freeman stars in this 90-minute drama about the televised trial of Adolf Eichmann, one of the chief architects of the Holocaust. Freeman plays a television producer who secures the rights to broadcast the trial. Ought to be fascinating.
Grey’s Anatomy (RTÉ Two, 9pm)
Now in its eleventh season, Grey’s Anatomy returns for its latest season. Christina’s gone, Meredith feels lost without her and McDreamy is still a thing. Long may that continue.
Everyone’s talking about… BBC Three
Two leading production companies have launched a bid to buy BBC Three, which is slated to be axed as an on-air channel later this year.
According to the Radio Times, Avalon and Hat Trick Productions have written to the BBC expressing an interest in bidding for the channel.
Both companies are seeking to buy the channel’s existing programmes and contracts, and keep it on air, though not under its current name.
Under the BBC’s current plans, BBC Three is set to move to online only later this year.
